Israel Guidance is a program of Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy (RASG). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Israel Guidance app or website.
Information We Collect
Program visit bookings: when a gap-year program schedules a campus visit, we collect the program name, contact name, email address, phone number, and visit details.
Portal accounts (students, parents, staff): name, email address, and account role; for students, guidance-related information maintained by the school such as graduating class, intake responses, applications, and meeting notes.
Automatically: basic device information and, if you enable notifications, a push-notification token.
How We Use Information
Schedule and coordinate program visits
Provide guidance services and maintain student records on behalf of the school
Send confirmations, reminders, and updates
Operate, secure, and improve the app
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
Authorized Hebrew Academy RASG staff providing guidance services
Service providers that operate our platform (Google Firebase / Google Cloud and email delivery), under their data-protection terms
As required by law
Student Information
Student guidance information is maintained on behalf of the school and is accessible only to authorized staff, the student's own account, and (where applicable) a linked parent account.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, authentication, and access controls.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide guidance services and as required by the school's recordkeeping policies.
Your Choices
You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us. Push notifications can be turned off in your device settings.
Children
The app is used by high-school students with school and parental involvement. Student information is collected for educational guidance purposes only.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page.
